Description

You are holding in your hands a remarkable book on Lithuanian history written by a man of also remarkable fate - the Englishman Ernest John Harrison. He was one of the few Brith who spoke Lithuanian and who testified to the West in English to the occupation and annexation of Lithuania carried out by the USSR. The uniqueness of this work consists in its authentic account of the events that took place in Lithuania by the autumn of 1944 as well as a critical evaluation of the events of World War II in Lithuania.
