Description

Benjamin is 11 years old when he sees his mother kill her Russian boyfriend. He doesn't tell anyone what he has seen and there are many unanswered questions. Benjamin is the son of Dina at Reinsnes and the book follows his development from boy to man. Dina is absent for most of the book but is still very present in her son's life. The action takes place in the latter half of the 19th century and we find ourselves at Reinsnes, in Tromsø and in Copenhagen.
