Aprašymas
This book presents an investigation of whether evolution is a possible object for evolved thought, and considers the difference between philosophy of religion and ascetic theology. It also explores the Augustinian-Thomist Biblical heritage as further developed and interpreted by Scotus and Hegel, and whether sacramental theology is dependent on a “realist” view of external nature. The book further discusses Hegel’s thought, rather than Heidegger’s, as embodying philosophy’s history, the identity in difference of signs and sacraments, and original sin, grace, infinity and linguistic representation, as well as natural or conceptual entities as sacraments proper or “signs of themselves” (sic). It also examines the views of Graham Priest on Hegel and “dialetheism”, as well as real presence in unreal nature.
