BOURGEOIS Spirals red Bag (Loqi maišelis)

This fold-away shopping bag features an all-over print of a red spiral detail from Louise Bourgeois’ Spirals, 2005 series of textile artworks. It can be compactly stashed in its matching zip pouch when not in use, so it's easy to have a resusable bag to hand when you pop to the shops.

The bag is part of our LOQI + Tate accessory range, created to celebrate women artists in Tate’s collection of art. Made from recycled polyester, it’s water-resistant, lightweight, and sturdy enough to carry up to 20 kg in weight.

About the artist

Louise Bourgeois (1911 – 2010) was a renowned French-American artist and sculptor, best known for her contributions to both modern and contemporary art, and for her spider structures entitled Maman, one of which was on show for the opening of Tate Modern in 2000.
